Bodywork, structure and tooling for teams working to a race date, and replacement parts for cars whose drawings are long gone.

01What we make

Bodywork, structure, and the tooling to produce both. Aero surfaces, ducting and internal channels, structural panels, brackets, housings, interior and trim parts.

We make the moulds as well as the components. Because the tool is produced here by the people who will lay into it, the twentieth part comes off matching the first.

A good share of the work is replacement parts for older cars, where the original drawings were never made or have long since been lost. In that case the part in your hand is the drawing, and we scan it.

02The argument

When the season can't wait.

A split supply chain hurts most here, because the deadline is a race date and it does not move.

Split across suppliers

The usual way
  • Tooling quoted by one company, lay-up by another, machining by a third
  • Every handover adds days nobody budgeted for
  • A change to the geometry means re-quoting the whole chain
  • When a part fails inspection, nobody owns the problem
VS

Everything in one place

Working with us
  • Tooling, lay-up, cure, trim and assembly under one roof
  • Most enquiries quoted the same working day they arrive
  • A change to the geometry is a conversation, not a new supply chain
  • One company accountable for the part that turns up

Our recent projects.

We supply four Formula 1 teams, and that work sits under non-disclosure. What follows is what we can show.

Made for EliseParts.com Ltd, a long-standing customer, for the Lotus Elise series 1 and series 2. The original component was the only reference, and the replacement had to fit a car built decades earlier.

05FAQ

Common questions.

About motorsport work specifically.

We have the part but no drawing. Can you reproduce it?

Yes, and for older cars it is the usual situation. We scan the component, rebuild it as a working CAD model and manufacture from that. You keep the model, so the next batch does not start from scratch. More on scanning.

How quickly can you turn a part around?

We quote most enquiries the same working day. How fast the part itself can be made depends on whether tooling already exists, how big it is and what else is in the autoclave. Tell us the date you need it and we will say straight away whether it is possible.

Do you make the tooling too?

Yes, in house, along with jigs and fixtures. That is the main reason parts stay consistent between batches.

Will you sign an NDA?

Yes, and most of our motorsport work already sits under one.

06 Enquiry

Tell us about the part.

A drawing, a photograph, or just a description. Whatever you have is enough to get a price, and we reply to most enquiries the same working day.

Nothing to attach? Leave it blank and describe the part above, or call us on 01480 861 221.
