Marine and offshore.

Composite parts that hold their shape in salt water, under load and in the sun.

01What we make

Structural panels, covers, housings and fittings. Made to your drawing, to a CAD model, or to the part you already have.

Carbon earns its place here for reasons that are easy to state. It does not corrode. It holds its shape through temperature swings that move other materials around. And the weight saved counts twice on the water, because a lighter structure sits higher and puts less load into everything it is fixed to.

Everything is made on one site, from the tooling through to the finished component, so there is one company to talk to and one accountable for what arrives.

02Typical work

The kind of parts that come through.

01

Structural panels and mouldings

Load-bearing sections where stiffness per kilo is the point.

02

Hatches, covers and housings

Enclosures that need to stay sealed and dimensionally stable outdoors.

03

Fittings, brackets and mounts

Smaller structural parts where a metal equivalent would corrode or add weight.

04

Replacements for older vessels

Scanned from the original part, rebuilt as a model, then made.

03Why us

Cured under pressure, not just under vacuum.

Most marine composite is wet laid up or vacuum bagged. Ours is cured in an autoclave, under heat and pressure together.

Pressure during cure consolidates the plies and drives the voids out of the laminate. Two parts can come off the same mould in the same material and behave differently, and the cure is usually the reason.

It also means consistency. The tenth part matches the first, which matters if you are fitting out a run of boats rather than repairing one.

Larger structuresBonded sections

Anything larger than the autoclave is built as cured sections and bonded together in the assembly room, which is how most large composite structures are made. A rough size is enough for us to tell you how a part would be approached.

04Capabilities

What we would use.

Tell us what the part has to do. A rough size and where it sits on the vessel is enough for us to talk you through how it would be made.

05FAQ

Common questions.

About marine work specifically.

Do you make hulls?

Not production hull mouldings. Smaller structural work is where we fit best.

Can you replace a part from an older boat?

Yes. If the component still exists we scan it, rebuild it as a working model and make the replacement from that. No drawing needed.

Will it stand up to constant salt water?

That depends on the resin system and the finish as much as the fibre. Tell us where the part sits and what it is exposed to and we will advise on the right specification.

Can you work from a sketch?

Yes. A sketch, a photograph, a sample part or a description of the problem are all normal ways for a job to start.

06 Enquiry

Tell us about the part.

A drawing, a photograph, or just a description. Whatever you have is enough to get a price, and we reply to most enquiries the same working day.

Nothing to attach? Leave it blank and describe the part above, or call us on 01480 861 221.
