Airframes, arms and mounts, with every gram accounted for.
Every gram of framecomes off the payload.
Airframe sections, arms, booms, mounts and enclosures. Made to your CAD, or developed with you from a sketch and a set of requirements.
On an aircraft that has to lift its own structure, every gram of frame comes off the payload or the flight time. Carbon gives a frame its stiffness for far less weight than aluminium, and a laminate can be made stiffer in one direction than another, so material goes only where the load does.
Early versions can be printed on our Stratasys Fortus 450mc to check fit before a mould is made, and the finished parts are laid up and cured in the same building.
Long, slender parts where stiffness decides how steady the aircraft is in the air.
The structure everything else bolts to, and usually the heaviest part of the frame.
For motors, cameras and payloads, where a light part still has to hold its position under vibration.
Protection for the electronics, without adding much weight to carry.
Printing and composite manufacture on one site, so a design can be tried, changed and made without changing supplier.
The build envelope is Stratasys' published figure for the Fortus 450mc. The autoclave figures are our own equipment. What a printed or cured part can achieve depends on its size and geometry, so tell us about the part and we will tell you what is realistic for it.
Bring the design as it stands. A model, a sketch or a set of requirements is enough for us to talk through how the parts would be made.

Yes. Send it as STEP or IGES and we will come back with how we would make it.
Yes. Bring what you have, whether that is a sketch, a model or a list of requirements, and we can work on the design with you.
Yes, and before you send us anything if you prefer.
A drawing, a photograph, or just a description. Whatever you have is enough to get a price, and we reply to most enquiries the same working day.
